Fish are still spawning, with some moving into the post-spawn period. We’ve had success fishing midges behind some type of extractor. We have been running eggs as an extractor but they have been getting a bit less and less due to the fishing pressure on eggs. Please respect fish directly on redds. Now is a great time to break out the big sticks and fish some streamers and the post-spawn really kicks off the streamer season. Flows have been consistently high which is good for the fish having a high water spawn, however, we look for flows to drop as we approach the headwater guide curve. Heavy rains could change that though.

Solid brown caught on a midge pattern.
